Hayley grew up watching her mom struggle with alcohol her entire life, swore she would never follow the same path, and then found herself hiding it, lying about it, and drinking every single day. The fear that terrified her most was not that she would keep drinking, but that even if she stopped, she would never stop thinking about it. In the years since she stopped drinking, she has not spent a single day feeling deprived.
